INTERNAL EXAMINATIONS
Internal medicine examination is a basic medical examination, which every adult should undergo at least once a year or, depending on the problem, as many times as the health situation requires. The examination is based on taking anamnestic data (data on the patient’s previous illnesses, family illnesses and current problems) and a detailed clinical examination. The obligatory part of the internal examination includes an electrocardiogram examination (a non-invasive procedure that enables a basic assessment of the condition of the heart muscle and heart rhythm), spirometry (a basic test to assess lung function). If necessary, the examination can be continued with additional subspecialist examinations in the field of cardiological-angiological, pulmonary and ultrasound examinations.
