Infectious mononucleosis – antibodies

DESCRIPTION:
Infectious mononucleosis is an infectious disease caused by the EBV virus. It is known as the kissing disease. The organism of the infected person produces heteophilic IgM antibodies, there are abnormal changes in the lymphocyte lineage and changes in liver function.

DETERMINATION:
Proof method: Rapid hemagglutination test. The sample for analysis is serum. The sample is stable for 7 days at 2-8°C, 3 months at -20°C.
