HbsAg

DESCRIPTION:
The virus particle consists of a core and an envelope that contains hepatitis B surface antigen – HBsAg. We prescribe it for screening and proving HBV infection. It is the earliest indicator of acute hepatitis B, it is often detected even before the appearance of the first symptoms of the disease, and it is also the primary indicator of chronic infection. HBsAg appears in the serum from the first to the tenth week after infection.

DETERMINATION:
Determination method: CMIA. The sample for analysis is serum or plasma. The sample is stable for 24 hours at 20-25 °C, six days at 2-8 °C.
