TPHA Antitreponemal Test

DESCRIPTION:
Treponema pallidum is the causative agent of syphilis, a sexually transmitted disease. Today, T. pallidum testing is mandatory for blood and organ donors, and pregnant women. Most commonly, antibodies to T. pallidum are determined by hemagglutination (TPHA).

Hemagglutination test.
