\nReduced zinc values: In case of reduced enteral absorption (Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, chronic liver disease, alcoholism), loss of zinc (kidney insufficiency, diabetes mellitus, burns, taking laxatives, diarrhea), parenteral nutrition. Increased zinc values: In case of increased stress (glass industry, electroplating, insecticides, fungicides)<\/p>\n
